Chris Bunzel
Managing Director, Client CIO Group

Chris Bunzel joined TIFF in 2024 and serves as a Managing Director in the Client CIO Group and Co-Head of Custom Asset Allocation. In this role, Chris collaborates with clients to develop investment strategies and construct portfolios that are designed to help them achieve their objectives.

Before joining TIFF, Chris was a Managing Director at Partners Capital, an Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) firm, where he spent 12 years in various roles across the research and Client CIO teams. As a member of the research team, Chris was primarily responsible for sourcing and evaluating public equities managers. As a Client CIO, he served as the lead advisor to many of the firm’s endowment and foundation clients. Chris also sat on Partners Capital’s Global Investment Committee, which drove the overall investment strategy for the firm.

Earlier in his career, Chris was an investment banking analyst at Jefferies and Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Finance and minor in Mathematics from Boston College and currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Chris is also a member of TIFF’s Investment Committee.

Investments
Elizabeth Egan
Director, Private Markets

Elizabeth Egan rejoined TIFF in 2024 as a senior member of the Private Markets group, bringing over a decade of experience as a direct investor in both public and private markets, as well as a background as a limited partner. She oversees all aspects of private investments, with a focus on PE direct investments alongside funds and independent sponsors, primary commitments in venture capital and growth equity, and secondary transactions.

Prior to TIFF, Elizabeth was a Vice President at Breakaway Ventures, a consumer-focused venture and growth equity fund, where she was central in sourcing, diligence, deal execution, portfolio management, and served on two boards. She has also gained experience in the public markets as an equity research analyst, covering small cap stocks for Chilton Investment Company, an equity long/short hedge fund. Elizabeth started her career at TIFF Investment Management, as an investment analyst and conducted manager research across asset classes and helped lead TIFF’s ESG initiative.

She holds an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and received her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Kelly Santangelo, SPHR
Chief People Officer

Kelly Santangelo joined TIFF in 2024 and serves as the Chief People Officer. In this role, Kelly provides HR leadership, working closely with the senior management team in a highly collaborative environment, and is responsible for developing and implementing HR best practices in the areas of employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and compensation and benefits.

Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Santangelo spent nearly fifteen years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Most recently, she served as the Director of Practice Group Human Resources at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where she led an HR team supporting over 1,000 partners and associates. With more than two decades of experience, Kelly has a background in building strong leadership relationships, coaching teams, and developing talent strategies.

Kelly holds an MBA with a focus on Human Resource Management from Loyola University Maryland and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is dedicated about to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
